Online or in person, you decide

You decide what works best for you: online or in person at my practice.

Living life between different countries or cultures

It comes with its own unique challenges.

You might be living abroad or moving between different languages and worlds. What feels natural to others can feel more complex to you. You may be living between two cultures that don’t fully come together, leaving you feeling misplaced or unsettled.

You may carry questions that others don’t fully understand. The people in your daily life may not know your background, while those from your country of origin may not fully grasp your current reality. You receive advice from both sides, yet it doesn’t quite fit.

Being in a relationship across languages or cultures can add another layer. Differences in communication and expectations can create distance. In these cases, therapy in English can offer a shared middle ground: a space to express emotions and work towards mutual understanding.

You can also choose individual counselling in English, for example when you live in the Netherlands but feel more comfortable expressing yourself in English.

We create space for your whole story: your background, your environment, and the different worlds you move between. This allows you to find clarity, direction, and a sense of groundedness, regardless of where you are.

You’re welcome to share what’s on your mind.

How my approach works

Lifeline Therapy is my integrative method in which I combine various evidence-based models into one clear and accessible framework. Together, we look at your whole story: who you are, where you come from, and where you want to go.

Elements from IFS, CBT, ACT, Contextual Therapy, and Narrative Therapy are blended into this approach. My style can be described as curious and informal. We work in a way that fits your needs, adding structure where needed and or a more relaxed approach preferred.

Discover whether my therapy is right for you

Sometimes you know something needs to change, but a full program feels like too big a step. That’s why there’s the introductory package: three sessions in which we identify where you feel stuck and how you can start making changes.

Many people choose this as their first step.

  • We explore what is going on
  • You gain initial insight into patterns and underlying factors
  • You discover which approach suits you
  • You begin making changes where things feel stuck

JAbsolutely, you can choose the format that works best for you.

How does your approach work?

I work with an integrative approach that I call Lifeline Therapy.

We don’t just focus on your symptoms, but your whole story: your background, your patterns, your environment, and what matters to you. I combine different methods (such as Contextual Therapy, IFS, ACT, and CBT) into one cohesive approach.
